테라릭스 본사가 위치한 전라북도 부안군 신재생에너지단지에서 5kW급 수소연료전지를 탑재한 전동카트 시연행사를 12월 6일에 가졌다.

 

테라릭스는 골프카트를 전문으로 생산하는 디와이이노베이트(국내 골프카트 생산 1위 업체)와 협력하여 연료전지를 탑재한 전동카트 시제품을 개발하였다. 일반 자동차가 진입할 수 없는 비도심 지역과 공원 지역 등에 적합한 소형 전동카트를 시제작하게 된 것이다. 테라릭스에서 만든 연료전지는 부피당 출력밀도가 높아 초소형 모빌리티에 최적화된 연료전지 타입이다. 

 

테라릭스는 연료전지를 보조전원 장치로 활용하여 배터리의 충전률을 일정하게 유지함으로써 전동카트의 주행거리를 큰폭으로 확장하는 동시에 배터리 충방전 이슈로 배터리 수명을 단축시키는 단점을 극복하기 위한 하이브리드 시스템을 개발중에 있다.

 

이번 전동카트에는 5kW급 시스템이 적용됐으며, 수소 충전시간은 기온에 따라 차이가 있지만 약 8~20분이 걸린다.

 

 

On December 6th, an electric cart demonstration event with a 5kW hydrogen fuel cell was held at the Renewable Energy Complex in Buan-gun, Jeollabuk-do, where TerraLIX headquarters is located.

 

TerraLIX developed a prototype of an electric cart equipped with a fuel cell in cooperation with DY Innovate (the No. 1 golf cart producer in Korea), which specializes in golf cart production. It was a prototype of a small electric cart suitable for non-urban areas and park areas where ordinary cars cannot enter. The fuel cell made by TerraLIX has a high power density per volume and is a fuel cell type optimized for micro-mobility.

 

TerraLIX develops a hybrid system to overcome the disadvantages of shortening battery life due to battery charging and discharging issues while significantly extending the mileage of golf carts by maintaining a constant battery charge rate by using fuel cells as auxiliary power devices are among.

 

A 5kW system was applied to this electric cart, and the hydrogen charging time varies depending on the temperature, but it takes about 8 to 20 minutes.
